The US could send cheap precision bombs and widely available rockets to Ukraine to meet the country's growing demand for arms. Boeing's Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB) system is reportedly among the Pentagon’s plans for more weapons to Kyiv. Combining the GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) with the M26 rocket motor, the GLSDB could be delivered as early as spring 2023. Watch the video to know more.

Authorities say days of heavy shelling by Russian forces have killed at least 32 people in the southern region of the Ukrainian city of Kherson.
Long lines of traffic have built up as civilians leave the area in search of safety. Ukrainian forces liberated Kherson just two weeks ago. Moscow has since kept up a relentless barrage primarily targeting power and water supplies.
But reports suggest that Russia is increasingly relying on imprecise, ageing cruise missiles, meaning that it has run out of modern weapons. DW spoke with military analyst Marina Miron of King's College London for an assessment of the situation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday visited Vyshgorod in the Kyiv region, a town which been badly damaged by Russian shelling.
Zelenskyy inspected a four-storey residential building that had been damaged by a Russian missile attack on Wednesday.
He also visited one of the so-called "Invincibility points" where people can access basic services around the clock and free of charge in the absence of electricity or heat.
The attacks come as Russia has stepped up bombardment of Ukraine's power grid and other critical civilian infrastructure in a bid to tighten the screw on Kyiv.

Former UK PM Boris Johnson has said Germany wanted Ukraine to "fold" quickly if Russia invaded. Johnson told CNN Portugal that Berlin wanted the situation resolved "quickly", due to “all sorts of sound economic reasons”. The former UK PM also had sharp words for Paris and Rome, claiming that France was "in denial right up until the last moment". French President Emmanuel Macron was one of the few Western leaders who was in direct contact with Putin even after the invasion began. Johnson also said that the Italians said that they wouldn’t be able support West’s position against Russia. However, Germany has angrily dismissed claims made by Boris Johnson regarding the Ukraine war.
